Got Hail Damage? We’ve Got You Covered.
When a Colorado hailstorm hits, the damage can feel overwhelming — but getting it repaired doesn’t have to be. At Mile High Dents, we specialize in paintless hail damage repair that restores your vehicle’s appearance quickly, affordably, and without the need for paint or fillers.
Serving Englewood, Denver, and the surrounding metro area since the late 1980s, we’re the trusted name in hail dent removal — backed by expert technicians and a streamlined, insurance-friendly process.
What Is Hail Damage Repair?
Hail damage typically leaves behind dozens — or even hundreds — of small dents across your vehicle’s roof, hood, and panels. Using Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) techniques, we carefully massage each dent out from behind the panel, preserving your car’s original paint finish and value.
Our process is non-invasive, fast, and approved by most insurance providers, making it the go-to solution for hail repairs.

Hail Damage FAQs
Whether you’re dealing with hail damage for the first time or you’ve been through it before, there are always questions. Below, we’ve answered some of the most common ones to help you confidently navigate the process:
What should I do first if my car has hail damage?
You’re probably rattled if you’ve just come through a hailstorm. Pull over as safely and quickly as possible, and assess the damage. If it’s safe to get out of the vehicle, do so and document the damage, if you can, by doing the following:
- Stay safe: Wait for the storm to pass and then find a secure location to pull over. Before you leave the vehicle, ensure the hailstorm has passed and you have a safe place to pull over. Other drivers might be driving very slowly or erratically while hail is coming down.
- Take notes: You can do this right on your phone. Write down everything you see, including other motorists who might be pulled over.
- Take photos: Take photos of the damage immediately. Get wide shots of your vehicle and then move in for close-ups of the damage. Go over your car and look for dents and dings and any damage on the hood, panels, undercarriage, and any other damage.
- Gather info: If other motorists nearby were affected, get their names or contact info if you plan to file a claim together.
Depending on the severity of the hailstorm, it might be challenging to do the above if you’re rattled. However, documenting what happened will be helpful later when dealing with the adjuster.
Will my insurance cover hail damage?
Most comprehensive auto insurance policies do cover hail damage. However, you’ll have to double-check your policy. If you have liability-only coverage, your hail damage won’t be covered, and you’ll have to pick up the cost of the repairs out of pocket. If you’re covered, you’ll typically just need to pay your deductible, and the insurance company will handle the rest of the approved repair costs.
